A sealed aquifer is an aquifer that occurs under one of the following closing hydrogeological main units characterised by the unique code 0300, 0500, 0700 or 0900. The Flemish Government defines these areas on the map. In doing so, it shall be ensured that each extraction is unambiguously defined (in accordance with the definitions set out in Article 2 of the Groundwater Decree)
