The meters are owned by asbl Gau Namur, which acquired them in 2012. Data processing is handled by the City of Namur. Currently, the data is accessible by GAU and the City (SAE-Mobility).
The meters are located at 5 locations in the city centre, in the strong commercial axis and are permanently active. They make it possible to measure pedestrian traffic in the city centre by counting pedestrian flows per hour.
The different columns corresponding to different installations or replacements due to failure.
The data from meters are raw. The figures must, however, be relativised, reflecting a trend rather than an absolute data, due in particular to the unweighted factors associated with the activity of a city centre (vandalism, presence of a bicycle or a trash can of a trader in front of the cell).
The data is not updated automatically! On request, we can add data from the last days.
