Dataset description

In 2020, on average 33 % of the measuring wells were found to exceed the standard of 50 mg nitrate per litre. The situation has improved slightly, but in recent years there has been a stagnation. Too high nitrate concentrations complicate certain uses of groundwater such as the production of drinking water and may disrupt nature values.
