The Mobility Advisor (CeM), a key player in mobility at the service of all, must ensure within his organisation the role of ‘link’ between the various stakeholders involved in the complex field of mobility. It must act as an attentive observer, ensuring the coherence and implications of the measures envisaged or undertaken in the field of transport. It must therefore, in case of doubt or question about one or the other, raise awareness among the bodies concerned (technical, administrative and political), so that they can, if necessary, take measures to correct and harmonise actions. CeM has undergone specific training, endorsed by a certificate, and organised by the SPW Mobility Planning Directorate. This training brings together mobility stakeholders from various backgrounds (communities, local police, federal, regional and provincial administrations, public transit companies, specialised associations, cells-mobility...). This great diversity stimulates exchanges, develops mutual knowledge and feeds the debate on the basis of field experiences specific to the issue of mobility.
