Number of samples analysed by the AGD & A laboratory

This table shows by calendar year: • the number of samples of diesel fuel obtained during inspections on public roads (sample from the fuel tanks of vehicles). AGD & A Laboratory determines whether these samples meet the requirements for fuels for vehicles on public roads. One of the requirements is that these samples should not be marked, i.e. they must not contain a red dye or Euro marker (Solvent Yellow 124). • the number of samples in relation to an import or export of goods. • the number of samples analysed for suspicion of prohibited substances (drugs, doping, precursors, etc.)’. The AGD & A laboratory also carries out excise analyses, but these figures are not included in this table.
