Number of Start Statements per Municipality

This dataset gives the number of active and submitted start declarations by province, main municipality, type of works, destination, if year and if month. The start declaration form is submitted at building level but in this dataset the start statement is counted once for each EPB unit in the Start Statement form. Example. For a building with 12 apartments (= EPB units), 1 start declaration form is submitted for the 12 EPB units together but in this dataset the number of start declarations for such a building will be equal to 12. Please note that from 2012 onwards, a pre-calculation start statement will have to be submitted, allowing for more detailed information in the Start Statement.
