Dataset description

The AGIV commissions annually to create an area-covering mid-scale orthophoto cover of the Flemish Region, including the Brussels-Capital Region. This contract is carried out in two phases: first realising digital photographic aerial shots in the winter flight season with a ground resolution of 17 cm and, then, the production of an orthophoto mosaic with ground resolution of 25 cm. This product is a compilation of the orthophoto mosaics (winter shots) collected for each part of this area in 2016. The product is supplemented by a data set ‘flight day contour’ which shows the recording date for each part of the compilation.
