Protected areas ifv extraction drinking water from surface and groundwater, status 22/03/2016

This stock provides an overview of the protected areas ifv extraction drinking water from surface and groundwater as reported to the European Commission in implementation of the European Water Framework Directive (WFD) 2000/60/EC. In accordance with Article 1.7.6.7 1°, a register of the bodies of surface water and groundwater bodies designated for the abstraction of water intended for human consumption and the bodies of water intended for that future use, including the protection zones for those bodies of surface water and groundwater bodies, should be established. In accordance with Article 1.7.6.3, this register must be displayed on map. This map layer contains the register for the protected areas of drinking water.
