Dataset description

Area-covering demarcation of the effectively flooded areas in Flanders in the period 1988-2016. The delimitation is based on the compilation of information that could be involved from various sources in the period between February 2000 and June 2016. Floods until May/June 2016 are included. The product consists of 2 entities: the entity “Recent flooded area” and the entity “Contour recently flooded areas”. The first entity contains the individual flooded areas (including attributes), the second entity merely outlines the areas included in the first product entity.
