Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders — Additional potential energy production from photovoltaic panels — REV2030 scenario

This map layer is part of the Renewable EnergieAtlas Flanders. In the ‘Space for Energy Flanders 2030’ scenario (REV2030), the additional production potential for photovoltaic panels (PV) that can be realised within the available space is limited on the basis of a potential figure proposed for 2030, taking into account the current context and policy objectives. In this scenario, the available space is limited to the remaining roof area, both in residential and non-residential areas. The potential figure for 2030 is based on the continuation of growth analogous to the period 2013-2015 in combination with the objectives set out in the solar plan. This reduces the maximum potential to 2 % for non-private areas and 6 % for private roofs by 2030. For more information, please refer to the report.
