Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders — Additional potential heat production from specific biomass streams — REV2030 scenario

This map layer is part of the Renewable EnergieAtlas Flanders. “In the ‘Space for Energy Flanders 2030’ scenario (REV2030), only the potential for pocket fermentation is taken into account for the additional production potential from biomass. Stables which have more than 1000 tonnes of cattle and/or calf manure are eligible. Given current trends, the maximum potential in this REV2030 scenario will be reduced to 2 % by 2030. For more background information, please refer to the report. The results are presented here at the level of the municipalities. A number of municipalities bear the label ‘confidential’ in order to guarantee the confidentiality of manure bank data. The figures per municipality can also be found in the attached table.”
