Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders — Current electricity production from specific biomass streams

This map layer is part of the Renewable EnergieAtlas Flanders. This map layer is based on the VREG list of green electricity biomass production plants, version 3/03/2016. This includes installations which only produce electricity and installations producing both electricity and heat (or CHP installations). Biomass installations producing only heat are therefore not part of this map. General reference numbers are generally used to estimate production. For larger production plants and waste incinerators, actual production figures (e.g. annual reports) were used to a maximum extent. Moreover, only the renewable share of production is included in the EnergieAtlas. The figures per municipality can also be found in the attached table.
