Sales price index in the construction industry

Purpose and short description The indices of sales prices in the construction industry can be used as an approach to construction cost variables. They only measure the development of housing — i.e. with the exception of buildings for collective housing, commercial buildings, land prices and fees of architects and others. They show the prices the customer pays to the construction company. The European Regulation requires Member States to provide the building cost variable in the form of indices for Section F (NACE Rev. 2) NACE Divisions 41 and 43.
