Belt Team Data/Statistics A belt is a statistical level between city and districts (see also city in figures). Each belt is a collection of statistical sectors, neighbourhoods and/or postal zones. The city is divided into 6 belts:
Inner city= belt within the Leien or post-zone Antwerp Centre (2000).
19th century belt = belt between Leien and Ring or postzones Antwerp South (2018), Antwerp North (2060), Oud-Berchem district and Borgerhout Intra Muros Noord and Zuid (or Intra Muros Berchem and Borgerhout).
20th century belt-Linkeroever= post-zone Antwerp Left bank (2050).
20th century belt-Right bank= belt outside Ring or district Luchtbal, district Groenenhoek, Nieuw — Quarter East and West and Borgerhout Extra Muros (or Extra Muros Berchem and Borgerhout), postal zone Antwerp Kiel (2020), districts Hoboken, Wilrijk, Deurne and Merksem.
Polderdorpen=wijken Polder, Lillo (district Berendrecht Zandvliet Lillo without harbour), Schoonbroek-Roozemaai and district Ekeren
