Shallow Model of Antwerp, v1 (2021)

The shallow geological 3D layer and voxel model of the Antwerp region (OA v1, 2021) shows the variation in the composition of the subsurface up to -50 mTAW for the urban region of Antwerp and part of the Antwerp port. The model was drawn up in the framework of the management agreement of the Flemish government with VITO, under the heading VLAKO, commissioned by the Flemish Environmental Planning Agency. The model includes: — the height in mTAW of the base and the top of the modelled packages in the form of grid-asc files, — the thickness of the modelled packages in the form of grid-asc files, — prevention limits of the packages, — drillings, probes, and interpretations on which the model is based, and — density maps. In addition, the model offers a voxel model with variation per volume of 25*25*0.5 m in lithology, unit and a description of the general composition of the unit and of the variation in the glauconite content. Everything is documented in a report and associated files.
