Dataset description

Share of private households consisting of a single (isolated) person aged 65 or older in total private households. People living in a nursing home or other community are not included in these figures. The household typology used is close to LIPRO. This typology was adopted by a working group comprising the Statbel, the Federal Planning Office and the statistical institutes of the 3 regions (SVR, IBSA and IWEPS).
