Speed Mobility and Parking Antwerp Summary:
Overview of the permitted speed on the Antwerp roads.
Purpose:
Determining the permitted speed on each road segment.
Production:
Speed is allocated by road segment and is based on the road signs inventory. The speed data is based on the road segments from the Road Register.
In addition to the usual speeds (30, 50, 70, 90, 100 and 120 km/h), we have also made a distinction in:
• & 20 km/h: slow roads, hiking or cycling paths, not accessible to other vehicles
• 20 km/u: housing estates
• 30 km/h with limited access: dead-end streets, streets with a ban on entry excluding local traffic or loading and unloading, where there is therefore low traffic
