The dataset includes the location and the identification form of the properties listed in the Cultural Real Estate Inventory.
The Inventory’s objectives are knowledge, protection and management of registered assets, as well as public awareness. The listing of a property in the Inventory recognises a heritage quality at the local level, unlike classification, which identifies the heritage quality of a property at the regional level.
The Inventory includes monuments (unique or multiple properties) or monumental ensembles (meeting of real estate).
IPIC is a privileged research support for urban planning actors (at the municipal and regional level), architects and individuals.
Each property is uniquely identified. If the visited property enjoys a higher level of protection in addition to being listed in the Inventory, a link allows a redirect to the databases “Heritage — Classified Goods and Protected Areas”, “Heritage — Exceptional Goods” or “Heritage — World Goods”.
