Dataset description
This file contains the demarcations of the sub-units (SU) for the Scheldt and the Meuse as reported to the European Commission in implementation of the European Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC. In addition to reporting at river basin district level, information is also reported at sub-unit level. This unit is theoretically a sub-area of major European river basin districts. Due to the limited size of Flanders in the European context, the demarcation of sub-units is identical to that of the river basin districts.
