Dataset description
According to the Croatian Water Act, they produce a preliminary flood risk assessment for each river basin district. Based on a verified previous flood risk assessment, those areas with significant flood risks have been identified, i.e. areas with potentially significant flood risks have been identified. This includes in areas with potentially significant flood risks all areas for which the previous assessment assessed very high, large and moderate past flood risk. The analysis was carried out at the level of the settlements of the State Geodetic Administration as the smallest administrative unit. Position data are provided in the Croatian Terestic Reference System 1996 Transvers Merkator projections (HTRS96/TM).
