Damage to forest ecosystems of the Republic of Croatia with description of plant communities from 1997 to 2004 — WMS

The database includes the results of the assessment of forest ecosystem degradation (defoliation, discoloration and tree mortality) through permanent bioindication areas of ICP Level I. in a 16x16 km network distributed throughout the country. The database contains identification cards of all permanent surfaces (approx. 100 plots) on which monitoring is carried out with the following parameters: coordinates, locality, availability of water, soil type, geological substrate type, altitude, inclination, exposure, age and stand structure, dominant plant species, plant communities and climate type. An integral part of the base is a description of plant communities located on permanent test plots, about 60 of them and a GIS browser, photo manual and methodology for assessing damage to forest ecosystems.
