The City of Rijeka has been funding programmes and projects of partner organisations (institutions and associations) in the field of social and health care for many years. The aim is to establish cooperation with the professional public and the civil sector on the protection and improvement of citizens’ health and social and psychosocial protection of certain particularly vulnerable groups of citizens (defenders and victims of war, the elderly, children with developmental disabilities, persons with disabilities, the homeless, victims of violence, etc.).
