Dataset description
The database shall be made publicly available on the Agency’s website in the form of a GIS browser. Data can be obtained on request (by filling in the Request for Access to Information AZO, according to the Information Catalogue AZO) and through the web browser and via the WMS/WFS GIS web service.
High-resolution layers represent a database on the state of land cover of the Republic of Croatia for five categories: Built surfaces, Forest surfaces, Agricultural surfaces, wetlands and water surfaces. The data shall be in a ‘grid’ format and shall be updated every three years.
Legal basis: National Environmental Strategy (NN 46/02), National Environmental Action Plan (NN 46/02).
Targeted beneficiaries: Ministries, state administration bodies, faculties, NGOs, professional and general public.
