The Nature Protection Information System is a set of databases, application solutions and web services intended for storing, maintaining and sharing data related to different components of biological and landscape diversity and the protection of nature in the Republic of Croatia. One of such datasets is the Habitats Map of the Republic of Croatia.
Habitat map of the Republic of Croatia — contains data on the distribution of habitat types on the territory of Croatia according to the National Habitats Classification. Line habitats (minimum length of 300 metres) are also mapped. Sites with habitats represented on small areas are shown as points. The entire territory of Croatia, including the sea, has been mapped.
The data is available to all users, through the spatial browser on the Bioportal website (www.bioportal.hr/gis), through the spatial browser of the CroHabitats database and through the WMS and WFS web service.
