On 22 December 2016, the City Council of the City of Rijeka adopted the Programme of Public Cultural Needs for 2017, according to which HRK 4,920,000.00 will be allocated from the budget of the City of Rijeka in 2017. This funding will support the protection and preservation of cultural heritage, museum, library, theatrical, musical and musical, dramatic arts, dance and movement, exhibition activities and fine arts, as well as literary and publishing activities, film activities and new media cultures, and meet the commitments made last year.
