Dataset description
Variation in the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices by category of goods and services. The data are monthly and relate to the period from 2003 onwards.
Please note that the basis for calculating the indicator changes on the basis of the reference period. In particular:
(a) for the years 2016 onwards the indicator is calculated on the basis of 2015
(b) for the years 2005-2015 the indicator is calculated on the basis of 2005
(c) for the years 2003-2004 the indicator is calculated on the basis of 1996
