Dataset description

Abstraction catchment areas for general water supplies outside areas with special drinking water interests (OSD) are designated in accordance with Section 11a of the Water Supply Act. Abstraction basins are areas where groundwater flows to a given abstraction drilling. The theme includes abstraction areas that are completely or partially outside the OSD. Historical data can be obtained from groundwater mapping, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency.
