Act on environmental approval, etc. of livestock farms, Act no. 1572 of 20 December 2006.
Fosforclasses are used in the IT application system “husdyrattest.dk” as guidance in connection with the regulation of livestock farming under the Livestock Approval Act and has been prepared on the basis of three conditions:
· Clay soils*
· Mapping of catchment areas for Natura 2000 sites overloaded with phosphorus**
· Low bottom areas of ochre Class II or more***
Definition of phosphorus classes:
Drained clay soils with phosphorus of 4-6: Phosphorus class I
Drained clay soils with phosphorus number greater than 6: Phosphorus class III
Low bottom areas of ochre Class II or more: Phosphorus class II
* Clay soils include JB No 5-10: Coarse sand-mixed loam soil, fine sand-mixed loam soil, loamy soil, rough loam soil, very heavy loam soil and silt soil.
