The theme shows the classification of catchment areas into vulnerable and highly vulnerable Natura 2000 areas*. The theme is used together with the nitrogen reduction potential for the determination of nitrate classes in accordance with the Animal Approval Order**, cf. the table below. The nitrate classes are used in the IT application system “husdyrattest.dk” for guidance in connection with the regulation of livestock farming under the Livestock Approval Act.
— Nitrate class III: Land for highly nitrogen-vulnerable areas with an N reduction potential of 0-50 %.
— Nitrate class II: Land for highly nitrogen-vulnerable areas with an N reduction potential of 51-75 %.
— Nitrate Class I: Catchment areas for vulnerable nitrogen areas with a N reduction potential of 0-50 %
— Outside the nitrate class: Land for nitrogen-vulnerable areas with a reduction potential of 51-100 %, and highly nitrogen-vulnerable areas with a N reduction potential of 76-100 % and other catchments to areas that are not nitrogen-vulnerable
In the above, the general rules refer to the rules of harmony.
