NP3b2020 Np3b2020_Nature and game reserves

Static theme from Denmark’s Area Information. Used in basic analysis for the 3 rd plan period. The theme of nature and wildlife reserves. Game reserves are established in accordance with the Law on hunting and game management with the aim of protecting and supporting populations of wild birds and mammals. Nature reserves are established under the Nature Conservation Act on state-owned land and in Danish waters (fishing territory) with the aim, among other things, of protecting wildlife populations and their habitats. It is a prerequisite for inclusion in this data collection that the protection of mammals or birds is included in the purpose clause. In some cases, both laws are applied when establishing a reserve.
