This opinion poll, managed and organised by the Directorate-General for Press and Communication, Public Opinion Sector, has been carried out at the request of the Directorate-General for Research. It was conducted in all the Member States of the European Union between 10 May and 15 June 2001 under the general coordination of EORG, in Brussels.
