'Autonomous suspensions' provide for a total or partial waiver of the normal duties applicable to imported goods during a certain period and for an unlimited quantity. The same applies basically for 'autonomous quotas', apart from their quantities, which are in fact limited. The database offers information on suspensions both in force and in preparation as well as on quotas in preparation (for further details related to quotas in force please refer to "quota balances").
