ERADIS - Safety Certificates Database

As required by Directive 2004/49/EC, in order to be granted access to the railway infrastructure, a railway undertaking must hold a safety certificate. The award of a safety certificate, gives confirmation that the railway undertaking has established its safety management system and is able to comply with relevant safety standards and rules in order to control risks and operate safely on the network. The safety certificate comprises Part A (confirmation of acceptance of the railway undertaking’s safety management system) and Part B (confirmation of acceptance of the provisions adopted by the railway undertaking to meet specific requirements necessary for the safe operation of the relevant network). The Statistics allows you to generate a number of detailed reports from the Safety Certificates Database, on the basis of a set of pre-defined filters. A number of the reports may be used to support planning of the safety certification process and supervision process, especially for the cross border operations.
