<br/> Activation time (UTC): 2022-11-22 09:26:00<br/> Event time (UTC): 2022-11-21 06:21:00<br/> Event type: Earthquake (Tsunami)<br/> <br/> Activation reason: <br/> On the 21st November 2022 at 06:21 UTC in Java province, Indonesia, a moderate inland earthquake of magnitude M 5.6 at a shallow depth of 10km hit the Cianjur region in West side. According to the Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System (GDACS), around 200 000 people were exposed to a maximum seismic intensity of VIII - severe shaking that might produce heavy damage. Despite the moderate magnitude of the earthquake, more than 160 fatalities and more than 700 injured people have been reported by media. The Indonesian disaster mitigation agency (BNPB) officially reported 62 dead, more than 2 200 houses damaged and more than 5 300 people displaced. The Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping was requested to provide Grading products.<br/> <br/> Reference products: 0<br/> Delineation products: 1<br/> Grading products: 7<br/> <br/> Copernicus Emergency Management Service - Mapping is a service funded by European Commission aimed at providing actors in the management of natural and man-made disasters, in particular Civil Protection Authorities and Humanitarian Aid actors, with mapping products based on satellite imagery.<br/>
