This European landslide susceptibility map presents the spatial likelihood of landslide occurrence in 5 classes as a 1 km raster data set. Landslide susceptibility is the likelihood of a landslide to occur in an area controlled by local terrain conditions. Susceptibility does not consider the temporal probability of failure or the magnitude of the expected events.
It is provided in the EFAS interface as additional information for the EFAS user as it is useful to know the background risk of landslides at a given location, particularly when flash floods are forecasted.
