Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador have been stroke by heavy rains starting from the 6th of october 2018.
At least 13 people have lost their lives in rains that inundated parts of the involved countries.
WFP Country Offices and other Disaster Agencies Disaster agencies in all three countries reported that at least 7.013 people In Honduras, 24.000 people in Nicaragua and 125.190 have been evacuated or moved in shelters.
Most of the rain was blamed on a low-pressure system off the Pacific coast of El Salvador. Hurricane Michael in the Caribbean could have also contributed.
Honduras is one of the most affected countries by the heavy rains: it is expected that soil saturation may trigger landslides across the country<br/>
