<br/> Activation time (UTC): 2019-05-15 11:22:00<br/> Event time (UTC): 2019-05-11 00:00:00<br/> Event type: Flood (Riverine flood)<br/> <br/> Activation reason: <br/> Since the 11 May 2019 a severe weather event, including heavy rainfall, strong winds and hailstorms have affected central and north-eastern regions of Italy, leading to river bank overflows that have resulted in much damage. The most affected area is the Emilia-Romagna Region. Heavy rainfall caused rapidly increasing levels of the Savio, Montone, Ronco, Panaro, Secchia, Sillaro and Foglia rivers, exceeding the highest alert level. In particular, the Secchia (Modena), Savio (Cesena), Sillaro (Imola) and Montone (Forlì) rivers have burst their banks.<br/> <br/> Reference products: 0<br/> Delineation products: 2<br/> Grading products: 0<br/> <br/> Copernicus Emergency Management Service - Mapping is a service funded by European Commission aimed at providing actors in the management of natural and man-made disasters, in particular Civil Protection Authorities and Humanitarian Aid actors, with mapping products based on satellite imagery.<br/>
