The Australian continent continues to experience a prolonged rainfall event associated with the current La Nina event. This ongoing weather pattern has now impacted South East Queensland where a large number of the communities within the area are experiencing once in a generation flooding. The National Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) have issued Queensland with numerous flood warnings for rivers and their catchments throughout the southern part of the State. Conditions are expected to continue for another two days with significant rainfall over a very sodden catchment.<br/>
