Bolivia is experiencing larger fires than average since 2010. The affected area is a mix of cropland, natural vegetation, marshlands and forests. Several thousands of personnel including volunteers, professional services and the army are involved in response operations. The main hotspots are in the region surrounding Concepcion and San Ignacio.
