A forest fire, broke out in 15-09-2019 near Lithakia village in Zakynthos Island, 250 Km West from Athens. Fanned by strong winds, this fire forced the evacuation of the villages of Keri and Agalas as a precaution. Copernicus EMS Mapping products will be used for damage assessment, recovery and restoration planning of the affected area and for future flood protection measures.
