This shapefile shows the delineation of the major river basins world-wide. Source: Global Runoff Data Centre (GRDC). For more technical details see www.bafg.de This layer is provided in the GloFAS interface as additional information for the user as it helps to understand if certain conditions e.g. such as high-precipitation events are located within a certain catchment.
