This dataset is an output of KIP INCA. The tables report ecosystem service actual flow in physical and monetary terms. Physical units varies according to the ES, the monetary unit is Euro. The monetary valuation is expressed in constant prices.
The Supply table is structured according to the MAES Ecosystem Type classification. The Use table is structured according to the following (aggregated) economic sectors: Primary sector, including Agriculture and Forestry; Secondary sector; Tertiary sector; Households; Global society.
Data are reported in absolute terms and by the EU 28 countries.
Supply and Use tables are provided for nine ecosystem services: crop provision (2000, 2006, 2012); timber provision (2000, 2006, 2012); crop pollination (2000, 2006, 2012); carbon sequestration (2000, 2006, 2012); flood control (2006, 2012); soil retention (2000, 2006, 2012); water purification (2006, 2012); habitat and species maintenance (2000, 2012); nature-based recreation (2000, 2012).
