<br/> Activation time (UTC): 2021-09-09 10:53:00<br/> Event time (UTC): 2021-09-08 22:30:00<br/> Event type: Wildfire (Forest fire)<br/> <br/> Activation reason: <br/> On 08/09/2021 a large forest fire started with three outbreaks in the municipalities of Jubrique, Genalguacil and Estepona (Málaga). It affects the Genal River Special Conservation Area and the Los Reales Natural Area. The first investigations carried out by the SEPRONA of Guardia Civil indicate that could be deliberate. About 400 people have been evacuated as a precautionary measure and several roads have been cut, including the AP 7 motorway towards Algeciras. Due to the virulence of fire evolution and adverse weather conditions, Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide first estimate, delineation and classification products. <br/> <br/> Reference products: 0<br/> Delineation products: 3<br/> Grading products: 1<br/> <br/> Copernicus Emergency Management Service - Mapping is a service funded by European Commission aimed at providing actors in the management of natural and man-made disasters, in particular Civil Protection Authorities and Humanitarian Aid actors, with mapping products based on satellite imagery.<br/>
