The main document types of preparatory acts are: Commission legislative proposals, Staff Working Documents, Impact Assessments, Reports, Green and White Papers, Council common positions, European Parliament resolutions (legislative, budgetary and others), initiatives and opinions, European Economic and Social Committee opinions and Committee of the Regions opinions.
