The Commission applies strict rules on transparency concerning its contacts and relations with interest representatives: it requires all its Members, their closest advisors (members of Cabinet) and all Directors-General to meet only interest representatives that are registered in the Transparency Register and to publish information on such meetings. Those measures fall within the meaning and scope of the conditionality and complementary transparency measures provided for in the Interinstitutional Agreement establishing the mandatory Transparency Register.
Information on meetings held between the Commission and interest representatives is published on the websites of the Members of the Commission and of Directorates-General of the Commission and is integrated (in pdf format) in the profiles of the interest representatives concerned in the Transparency Register.
In order to promote further transparency on interest representation, the datasets below enable the user to download the lists of Commission meetings with interest representatives in a comprehensive manner in machine-readable XML and/or Excel format.
