In Finland, the Finnish Meteorological Institute owns nine weather radars, which it operates and which it is responsible for maintaining and maintaining.All radars are located on the top of either a water tower or a separate metallic radar tower. The aim of the placement has been to provide the widest possible coverage area and an unobstructed horizon for measurements.
