Dataset description
SAS source codes, instructions and reports for the common population forecasting system in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Vantaa, Helsinki and Espoo implemented the population forecast application in 2020-2022 in a joint project that received a grant from funds earmarked for promoting the digitalisation of municipalities in the Ministry of Finance. In the project, the City of Porvoo carried out a population forecasting of the city and a Python version of the regional model, which can be found in Github.
