Orthodontics of the City of Vantaa

Almost every year, the Measurement Department commissions mapping aerial photographs from different parts of the city. These have been done for the maintenance of maps and for monitoring the state of the environment. If necessary, ortho-air photographs are made from these descriptions to the city’s internal geographic information system. The terrain resolution of orthophotos is usually 10 cm, but they do not cover the entire area of the city. Orthograph series covering the whole Vantaa area are from 1954, 1976, 1986, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013. The resolution of the images is 20-25 cm in the terrain. Available via WMS (years: 1954, 1976, 1986, 2011 and 2013), demands an agreement with the data producer.
