TMC location data

RDS-TMC (Traffic Message Channel) is a traffic information service that transmits traffic information via RDS technology used alongside analogue radio transmissions. Traffic bulletins contain useful and up-to-date information on road work, accidents, congestion and weather. The Finnish Transport Agency is responsible for maintaining and distributing the TMC/ALERT-C data in Finland. TMC is developed by TISA Forum. The Finnish location database is continuously maintained and certified by TISA Forum every year. The TMC designation used by the Finnish Transport Agency for information is updated several times a year, i.e. between certifications. This website distributes uncertified intermediates, certified material and documentation of the differences between these materials.
