976 OCS GE® (2016 version)

The OCS GE is a vector database for the description of land cover of the entire metropolitan territory and overseas departments and regions (DROM). It is a national reference framework, constituting a national base, which can be used at national and local level, in particular to contribute to the calculation of indicators required by urban planning documents. It is based on an open model separating soil cover and soil use (called a 2-dimensional model), geometric accuracy based on the Grande Scale Reference (RGE®) and temporal coherence (vintage note) which, through future updates, will allow the spatial evolutions to be quantified and characterised.
